From the first command to the first order.

The whole path, in the order you walk it: create an agent, connect it to the market and to your accounts, then put it to work.

  1. Start

    Start it.

npx bytnode-ai opens BytNode-AI in your browser, on the setup assistant: who you are, in a few words the agents will read. Nothing leaves your machine.

  2. Connect

    Connect your model.

Your subscription, Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, Grok or Mistral: sign in once, and their own agent runs underneath, dressed by BytNode-AI. Or paste an OpenRouter key for any model, billed per use.

  3. Plug in the market.

Paste your BytNode key and verify it: the agent connects to BytNode over MCP and discovers its tools. From then on every agent has the market at hand, read-only, without asking.

  4. Add your exchange accounts.

As many as you want across Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase, Kraken, Bitget, KuCoin, Gate.io, HTX and MEXC: a name, a key, a secret. Test reads the balance. Then choose, per agent, which accounts it may pilot.

  5. Create your agent

Give it a name, a profession, a folder.

Pick a profession, a working folder, how far its file tools may reach, and whether it asks before acting. The rest is optional context: a few lines about you, some files.

  6. Put it to work

    It manages your portfolio.

Balances and positions across your accounts, exposure by asset, open orders with their fees, and a watch that stops on a price, a PnL or a liquidation distance.

  7. It analyses the market, and your trades.

Prices, funding, open interest, indicators and market emotion from BytNode; your own order history from the exchange. It reads both and tells you what it sees.

  8. It builds and backtests strategies.

One standard engine: fees, slippage, funding, execution on the next candle, in and out of sample. The agent only writes signal(df) and stop_distance(df), and asks before running Python.

  9. It places trades, only when you say so.

Every order, close or transfer is asked, even in direct mode, with a badge that says which money it touches. There is no withdrawal tool, on purpose.

Who are you?

The agent will call you by your first name. Nothing leaves this computer.

Your activity, your habits, what every agent should know about you. Passed to all your agents.

Nothing leaves your machine, except what you send to the model.
